Timeline of the Coaching Process

These are, in a nutshell, the steps that you can expect from your coaching process. Each step takes approximately 2 sessions of 45 minutes each.

The first step is:

  • Confirm the willingness of the coachee to do his part of the coaching process.
  • Perform an auto-evaluation of four areas: Personal, Family, Social, and Business.
  • Determination of the coachee’s Super Power and weaknesses.

The second step is the establishment of goals for each of the four areas defined in the first step. These goals must comply with the popular SMART criteria (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-based).

The third step is to establish the Strategic Plan of Action (SPA) to accomplish the goals in the four areas. Things that need to be considered are strengths and weaknesses of the coachee, the resources that he has available, and those that is necessary to secure.

The fourth and final step is the confirmation of the commitment to follow through, and the long term action plan. There is a review of the progress that has been made and final thoughts to help solidify the transformation.

Cronograma del Proceso de Coaching

Estos son, a grandes rasgos, los pasos que puedes esperar en tu proceso de coaching. Cada uno de los 4 pasos toma aproximadamente 2 sesiones de 45 minutos cada una.

El primer paso consiste en:

  • Confirmar la disposición del coachee para hacer su parte en el proceso del coaching.
  • Hacer una autoevaluación de cuatro areas: Personal, Familiar, Social y Negocio.
  • Determinación del Super Power y debilidades del coachee.

El segundo paso es el establecimieno de metas para cada una de las cuatro areas definidas en el primer paso. Estas metas deben cumplir con el popular criterio SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-based).

El tercer paso consiste en establecer el Plan Estrategico de Acciones (PEA) para el alcance de las metas en las cuatro areas. Aqui se consideraran aspectos como las fortalezas y debilidades del coachee, los recursos con que se cuenta,  y los que es necesario conseguir.

El cuarto y último paso consiste en reafianzar el compromiso y determinar el plan de seguimiento de mediano y largo plazo. Aca se hara una recapitulacion de los tres pasos anteriores, asi como un resumen de las conclusiones a las que se ha llegado durante el proceso de coaching.
